I bought a foundation, but it’s not a great match for my skin tone. What should I do?
We understand your problem, which is why we created the Shade Shifter. It will help you achieve your perfect shade by adding a few drops of the light/dark pigment as per your needs.
How do I use the Shade Shifter?
You can add the light or dark drops to your current foundation to custom create your own shade. Please find a detailed video here.
Can I use the Luminous Veil Foundation in all climates?
Yes, our foundation is specially designed to be sweat-resistant and transfer-resistant, making it suitable for all kinds of weather, specifically heat.
How can I find the right foundation shade for me?
You can take the quiz on our Shade Finder, and it will help you find your perfect shade match. Alternatively, you can also directly reach out to our customer service team.
Are your products suitable for all skin types?
Yes! We are dermatologically tested as well. However, we recommend doing a patch test if you have sensitive skin.
Do you test your products on animals?
Luar Beauty does not test on animals. We are a cruelty-free brand. This has always been the case and will continue to be our status indefinitely.
Can I use Luar products during pregnancy?
We can ensure that all our ingredients and manufacturing processes for making our products meet the highest safety standards. In the interest of complete transparency, we have also listed all ingredients comprising each product on the products page. However, everyone has individual needs and sensitivities, especially while pregnant, so it might be best for you to check with your doctor.
Do your products contain Mica?
Yes, Luar Beauty products may contain synthetic Mica or ethically sourced Mica, which is a mineral that gives certain products a radiant glow. To ensure ethical practices are in place and there’s no child labor or exploitation, we ask each of our manufacturers for certificates from their suppliers.
What are the expiration dates of Luar’s products?
Look for the open jar icon on the back or bottom of the product or packaging for the shelf life after opening. The number inside, followed by the letter M, indicates the time in months from when you open the product. Overall, our products expire after 36 months from date of manufacture.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we only ship in India. We hope to ship internationally soon!
Does the billing and shipping address have to be the same?
No, you can choose to have different addresses at checkout.
Can I change my shipping address once I’ve placed my order?
If the order has already been shipped, changing the shipping address may not be possible. However, please get in touch with us at hello@luar.co.in as soon as possible so we can accommodate your request before the order is shipped.
ORDERS & PAYMENTS
What forms of payment do you accept?
Luar accepts both prepaid and cash-on-delivery orders. You can pay online via most debit/credit cards, net banking, e-wallets, or UPI, as per your preference. You can also pay in cash to the delivery agent at the time of delivery.
What do I do if my payment is declined?
If your payment is declined, please get in touch with your bank or credit card company. If you have any further questions or difficulties, please call our customer service team at +918169138488 between 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. You can also write to us at hello@luar.co.in. All online payments are securely handled by our payment gateway partner Razorpay.
How will I know if my order has been placed?
Please check your inbox for a confirmation email to ensure your order was received. If you are unsure, please contact us at hello@luar.co.in. If you have an account with us, you may also log into your account to check if the order was received.
How can I track my order?
You will receive an email from us once your order is dispatched with the tracking details. If you have an account with us, you may log into your account, and you will see the status of your order. For any questions about your order status, please contact us at hello@luar.co.in.
I forgot my password, and I’m unable to reset it. What should I do?
You can request a new password by clicking on the My Account section of the Luar website. Click on “Forgot Your Password?” and enter your email address, then submit a request. You will receive a one-time password (OTP). Enter the OTP in the blank field, and click on submit. Upon authentication, you will be prompted to reset your new password.
What is your Shipping Policy? How long will it take for my order to reach me?
We will ship any domestic order within 2 business days from your order date. Once the order is shipped, these are the timelines you can expect:
Metro & Tier 1 cities – 2-5 business days
Tier 2 cities – 3-7 business days
Tier 3 cities – 4- 10 business days
Where do I buy Luar Beauty in-store?
Right now, we are available exclusively on www.luarbeauty.in. However, we keep having pop-ups in the country, so we hope to see you there as well!
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Can I modify/cancel my order?
In an effort to ship your products as soon as possible, we immediately begin processing your order as soon as it is placed. Once orders are submitted, we have a 24-hour window to modify or cancel your order during business hours by emailing hello@luar.co.in. Please note that we'll do our best to accommodate your request, but we can't guarantee we'll be able to modify or cancel it. If your order has been dispatched, we cannot cancel it, and it will need to be processed as a return once it's received.
Can I exchange my product?
We offer exchanges only if the product is undamaged and unused. Please read our Exchange Policy for a detailed brief on our exchange specifications. However, we are happy to review your case and accommodate your request under certain special circumstances. My item arrived damaged. What should I do?
We’re sorry to hear your Luar Beauty order arrived in a less-than-perfect condition. Please email us at hello@luar.co.in with your order number, and our customer service team will assist you further. Please inform us within 24 hours of order delivery so we can consider your case upon response.
The order I received doesn’t match the order I placed. What should I do?
Please reach out to our customer service at +918169138488 from 10 am - 6 pm, Monday - Friday. You can also write to us at hello@luar.co.in, and we will provide a solution within 24 hours.
When will I get my refund?
Once Luar Beauty receives your return, please allow up to 10 business days to process it. Please be aware that your bank may have an additional waiting period to post the refund to your account. Your refund can only be credited back to the original form of payment. We’ll email you when our team has processed your refund so you know it’s on the way. In case of a Cash on Delivery order, we will require your bank details to refund your total order amount.
GIFTS & PROMOTIONS
Can I send my order as a gift?
Of course! We’d be happy to include a little message from you as well. Click on the gift box option on the product page, and you will be asked if you’d like to write something; note down your message in that space, and we will share it on your behalf, along with the gift order.
I have a Luar promo code. How do I use it?
At checkout, you can choose to apply your promo code. Please note that only one promo code can be used at a given time. Promotions and offers on our website without a promo code will automatically be applied at checkout. Promo codes can be used with promotional offers and discounts in such cases.
