I tried out this foundation and bought the small bottle first to see if the shade matched. I took help to get my shade match. They were able to tell me the exact shade for my skin tone. And it is absolutely lovely. The formulation gives a silky smooth finish and it just blends into your skin so well. My hyperpigmentation is also covered without giving a greying effect to the skin. It is fabulous that way. I live in a humid place and when I was walking around I was sweating but the make up stayed in place without any primer (i applied it directly over my sunscreen) I haven't done a wear test yet, but I have confidence that it will stay. It doesn't feel sticky and has rested well as well. This is definitely a new staple to my make up bag and I'm purchasing the bigger bottle! My shade is L7 and it's a perfect match !

Foundation That Looks Like Skin, Not Makeup

I’m in love with this foundation and couldn’t ask for more. I’ve always been a no-makeup person and, until now, had never used foundation. At 43, I wanted something that would make my skin look just a touch better—without looking like makeup, without a mask effect, and without being noticeable at all.

Here’s how I use it: I hydrate my skin, apply my SPF, wait a bit, then mix a little Luar into a second layer of SPF before applying. It blends in seamlessly and gives me exactly what I was hoping for—my skin, only smoother and more even.

I’d had bad experiences with tinted SPFs in the past—they all stained my clothes—so I was worried this might do the same. I’m happy to say it doesn’t transfer at all. I wear a lot of white, and it stays perfectly clean.

For reference, I’m Caucasian, Fitzpatrick type 2 (neutral), dry skin type, blue-eyed, and blonde. The shade L1 is perfect for me.

One of my furry companions has epilepsy, so I’m extra thankful this is fragrance-free—no scent triggers for us.
